SUMMARY: Free accounts send 30 messages per month, but only by choosing from 3 pre-written options. You cannot write your own messages. For free messaging, you AND the provider must both be subscribed.
How does Free Messaging works ? #
With a free account, you find an interesting provider and click “Contact.” Three message options appear: #
- “I’m interested in your services. Looking forward to discussing!”
- “Thank you for your profile. We may contact you later.”
- “Great! I’m subscribing to continue the conversation.”
You choose one option, the message is sent automatically, and your counter decreases. The counter resets to 30 on the first of each month. Unused messages don’t accumulate.
What you cannot do #
With a free account, you cannot:
- ❌ Write your own personalized message
- ❌ Ask specific questions
- ❌ Share your contact information
- ❌ Negotiate rates or conditions
- ❌ Explain your needs in detail
Even if the provider is subscribed, if you’re on a free account, you both remain limited to pre-set messages.
Condition for free messaging #
Both parties must be subscribed simultaneously. If either one is free, you both remain limited. It’s like a lock with two keys: you need both keys to open it.
Optimal strategy #
Free exploration phase: Browse all profiles, identify 5-10 potential providers, note those with “Subscribed Profile” badge. Testing phase: Send the pre-set message “I’m interested…” and wait for responses. Subscription decision: Subscribe if 2-3+ subscribed providers responded positively and you’re ready to hire.
The free version lets you test completely before investing. Subscribe when you’ve found gems you want to discuss with in depth.
