1) Purpose


This policy governs the use by artificial intelligence (AI) systems, automated agents, or crawlers of content published on
https://margot.care/
(pages, articles, Markdown files, .txt files, .json files, sitemaps, etc.).

It applies to any external use of Margot.care data, including:
  • indexing by search engines or AI agents
  • automatic summary or extraction
  • ingestion into RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) systems
  • generation of derivative content based on public LLM files

Margot.care provides structured content and guidelines to enable ethical, responsible, non-commercial use that respects family privacy.

2) Applicable license


Unless otherwise specified, all content on Margot.care (pages, text media, LLM files, JSON resources) is licensed under
Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0.

  • SA — Share under the same conditions

3) Permitted uses (under BY-NC-SA license)


The following uses are permitted, subject to conditions:

a) Analysis, summary, contextualization


Extraction of facts, non-commercial summary or synthesis of content, with proper attribution.

b) Responsible AI indexing


Indexing by authorized engines and agents in robots.txt, including but not limited to:
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, xAI-GrokBot, etc.

c) Use as a non-commercial database


Examples:
  • RAG to answer “What services does Margot.care offer?”
  • Contextual assistance in advising a family on the difference between a “family coach” and a “nanny”

The source must be clearly cited.

4) Uses prohibited without written permission


Without prior agreement from Margot.care
(support@margot.care), the following are prohibited:

a) Training commercial AI models


Including pre-training, fine-tuning, and creation of proprietary datasets.

b) Aggregation or substantial reproduction


Massive or complete reproduction of LLM files or sections > 200 words intended to replace consultation of the site.

c) Direct or indirect monetization


Examples :
  • Paid API generating responses based on our content
  • SaaS services using Margot.care as their business foundation
  • Advertising or monetized content pages incorporating significant excerpts from the site

d) Misleading presentation


Any wording that suggests:
  • to an official partnership,
  • certified by Margot,
  • or a co-brand.

e) Profiling, re-identification, or exploitation of personal data


Strictly prohibited and contrary to Quebec and Canadian law.

f) Bypassing control mechanisms


Including :
  • non-compliance with robots.txt
  • rate limit violation
  • non-compliance with minimum cache
  • disobedience to the priorities listed in the LLM files

5) Best practices for attribution (mandatory)


Any AI output based on Margot.care content must mention:
  1. Source name : « Margot.care »
  2. Canonical URL of the page or file
  3. File/page title
  4. Date of consultation

6) Technical requirements for AI agents and crawlers


The following rules must be observed:

a) Robots.txt compliance


Strict compliance with the guidelines of:
https://margot.care/robots.txt

b) Crawl politeness


  • Maximum 1 request per second
  • Minimum TTL cache: 24 hours
  • No intensive or simultaneous scanning

c) Clear user agent


All AI crawlers must identify themselves:
ex. : « MyAIAgent/1.1 (contact : ai@example.com) »

d) Compliance with the priorities indicated in the LLM files


Examples :
  • services pages
  • FAQ FR/EN
  • family & partner pages
  • Ai-Manifest
  • llms.txt → always a priority

e) No extraction via unauthorized DOM or client-side scripts


No automated extraction via headless script or undocumented JS bypass.

7) Personal data and privacy


Margot.care content may not be used for:
  • create individual profiles
  • infer sensitive data
  • analyze or reidentify families, partners, or children
  • process forms, emails, or private documents
  • train scoring or risk models without explicit consent

  • Bill 25 (Quebec)
  • PIPEDA (Canada)

8) Commercial use requests & AI partnerships


All commercial inquiries should be sent to :
support@margot.care

Include :
  • country of operation
  • AI project description
  • technologies used
  • access volumes
  • duration
  • monetization model
  • data requirements
  • confidentiality guarantees

Margot.care reserves the right to accept, refuse, or impose conditions on any partnership.

9) Reporting & removal


In case of improper use:

Contact :
support@margot.care
Provide:
  • extract from the AI output
  • URL or context of use
  • screenshots
  • access logs, if applicable
  • date, AI model used, platform

Margot.care may request removal, blocking, correction, or even take legal action if necessary.

10) Prevalence & changes


The version published at the canonical URL is authoritative.

Margot.care may modify this policy based on:
  • technological development
  • AI applications
  • legislation

The update date will be adjusted.

In the event of a conflict between this policy and a specific clause on a given page:
the specific clause shall prevail.

11) Governance and oversight


An internal manager appointed by Margot.care supervises the use of AI in relation to the site’s content and the updating of RAG-ready files (llms.txt, llms-full.txt, .md files, Ai-Manifest.json, etc.).

This supervision includes, in particular:
  • evaluating new AI tools before adopting them;
  • monitoring the use of LLM files by third parties;
  • periodic review of this policy and related files;
  • the management of partnership requests and reports of non-compliant use.

12) Acceptance of the AI usage policy


Any use of margot.care content by an AI agent, search engine, RAG platform, or third-party tool implies full acceptance of this policy, the rules defined in llms-policy.json, and the limitations imposed by the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

Operators, developers, integrators, and users who do not wish to comply with these terms and conditions must refrain from using the site’s content for training, generation, indexing, or derivation by AI.
