SUMMARY: Yes, absolutely! Create as many requests as necessary (nanny + babysitter + coaching, etc.), whether you’re free or subscribed. Each request must describe one specific need.
Why Create Multiple Requests ? #
Different needs require separate requests. Example of a typical family:
- Request 1: “Full-time Nanny Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. – 18-month-old twins – Rosemont”
- Request 2: “Occasional babysitter evenings/weekends – 2 children ages 3 and 5 – Rosemont”
- Request 3: “Parental coaching – Managing tantrums – 4-year-old child – Online or Rosemont”
Why separate? Different services attract different providers. Distinct budgets. Incompatible schedules. Variable urgency. This makes searching easier for providers.
How to Create Multiple Requests ? #
Access your dashboard, click “My Requests,” then “+ Create New Request.” Fill in information for your first need. To create a second request, return to “My Requests” and click “+ Create New Request” again. Repeat for each specific need.
Rule: One Request = One Service
Each request must describe a single specific service. Don’t mix several different services in one request.
Why? Providers search by specific service. A clear request attracts the right candidates. Avoids confusion and improves response rate.
Mandatory Elements per Request #
- Catchy and specific title: “Bilingual full-time nanny – 6-month-old baby – Rosemont” rather than “Looking for Nanny.”
- Detailed description of 1000 maximum characters: Precise needs, child’s personality, key expectations.
- Clear and realistic budget.
- Precise availability and schedule.
- Desired start date.
Managing Your Multiple Requests #
Use clear and distinct titles to differentiate quickly. Check your “My Requests” dashboard to see all active requests. Each request has its own separate message box. Providers can respond to multiple of your requests if they offer multiple services.
Modifying an existing request #
When to modify: Schedule change, budget evolution, adding important details, postponing start dates, receiving many responses but not quite what you’re looking for.
How: Access “My Requests,” select the request to modify, click “Edit,” change necessary information, save. Modifications are visible immediately.
Modifiable fields: Title, description, budget, start date, desired duration, availability and schedule, specific tasks, and information about children. Non-modifiable field: Main service category (e.g., nanny, babysitter, coaching).
Deleting a request #
When to delete: You found your ideal provider, the need is no longer relevant, you want to completely reformulate the request, or you’re receiving too many responses.
How: Access “My Requests,” select the request, click “Delete,” confirm deletion. This is irreversible.
Deletion consequences:
- What’s deleted: Request disappears from public search, no new responses possible
- What’s kept: All existing conversations with providers, message history, you can finalize with providers already contacted
