How can I tell if the provider is subscribed before contacting them ?

SUMMARY: Each profile displays a clear badge: “Free Account” or “Subscribed Profile.” Visible even before opening the complete profile. This allows you to prioritize subscribed providers if you’re also subscribed, for smooth exchanges.

Where to Find the Information ? #

The badge is visible directly on the profile thumbnail in search results, before clicking. It also appears on the complete profile at the top right upon opening, and in the conversation list next to the name.

The 2 Types of Badges #

“Free Account” badge: The provider doesn’t have an active subscription, is limited to 60 preset messages per month, cannot write personalized messages or share their contact information. Impact on you: Even if you’re subscribed, you both remain limited to preset messages. Cannot exchange freely.

“Subscribed Profile” badge: The provider has an active subscription with unlimited free messaging and can share their contact information. Impact on you: If you’re also subscribed, you have complete free messaging. Quick and detailed exchanges possible. Contact information can be exchanged rapidly.

Why It’s Crucial ? #

Strategic prioritization: If you’re subscribed, prioritize “Subscribed Profile” providers for smooth, fast exchanges and quicker hiring. If you’re free, even with a subscribed provider, you remain limited. Focus on exploration, identify 3-5 interesting subscribed providers, and then subscribe to exchange.

Avoid frustrations: No surprise after sending a message, realistic expectations from the start, better time management.

 

Create two mental lists: #

  • List A – High priority (if you’re subscribed): “Subscribed Profile” badge, matching qualifications, positive reviews, compatible availability
  • List B – Low priority: “Free Account” badge, limited exchanges even if you’re subscribed, contact only if exceptional profile

 

When to contact a Free Account ? #

Justified situations: Unique expertise (only provider with rare certification), perfect location (2 minutes away vs. others at 30+ minutes), exceptional reviews (5 stars with 10+ detailed reviews), or direct recommendations from close friends.

Reality: Serious free providers generally subscribe quickly if they receive interesting requests. If the profile has been free for months, they’re probably not very active.

Video Indicator

Subscribed providers can add a presentation video. On a profile with video, you see the “Video available” icon and “Watch video” button, confirming the provider is subscribed. To watch the video, you must also be subscribed. Free accounts see “Video available for subscribers” but cannot view it.

Why it’s a good indicator:

  • 💎 Serious providers invest in a video
  • ✅ 100% certainty they’re subscribed
  • 🤝 Allows evaluating personality before even contacting

Optimal prioritization: If you’re subscribed and looking for the perfect match, first prioritize profiles with video + 4-5 stars. These providers are generally the most motivated and professional.

Each video is manually approved by our team. If you see a video, it’s compliant and professional. Zero contact info, zero workarounds. You can watch with confidence.
