SUMMARY: For security and confidentiality, full names, exact addresses, phone numbers, and emails are NEVER displayed on public profiles (even for subscribers). You exchange this information in private messaging once trust is established.
What you see on profiles ? #
All families can view: #
- ✅ Provider’s first name, city, and general area
- ✅ Services offered, certifications, and validated training
- ✅ Complete description, ratings, and reviews from other families
- ✅ General availability, base rates
- ✅ “Background Verified” and “Subscribed Profile” or “Free Account” badges
However, the complete last name, exact address, phone number, email address, and precise GPS coordinates always remain private.
How to obtain complete contact information ? #
To exchange freely, you must have an active subscription AND the provider must also have an active subscription. Both subscriptions are necessary. If either of you has a free account, you both remain limited to pre-set messages.
Once both subscribed, contact the provider via Margot messaging, discuss your needs, and when trust is established, exchange your contact information. Then organize a preliminary meeting and sign a written agreement.
Why this protection ? #
This rule protects:
- 🛡️ Against harassment and abuse
- 🔐 Prevents identity theft
- 🚫 Avoids unauthorized data collection
- ✅ Gives you control over who receives your information
Without this protection, some users could freely retrieve all contact information and reach out directly off-platform, making it impossible to maintain a quality platform.
Natural progression #
During the search phase, you review public profiles. At initial contact, you send messages through the platform. During interest validation, you discuss availability and rates. Once trust is established, you exchange contact details. At the meeting, you validate in person. Finally, you sign a contract.
This progression protects both parties and ensures a secure process.
